Please accept my humble obeisances.  All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Guru Maharaj.

With great pleasure, I am writing to all of you to share  the vyasapuja celebration, we did in Sydney. This has been the 4th year, we have been privileged to celebrate guru maharaj’s vyasa puja in Sydney. Year by
year, it is just getting more memorable, colourful and blissful.

This year following Guru Maharaj’s mood, Bharat Srestha prabhu came up with the idea of celebrating the day in rememberance of Srila Prabhupada as the way it happens in Ujjain. Given it was Friday, being a weekday, we set up the event in the evening with lot of events. We spent the first part of the program god-brothers/sisters reading out their offering to Guru maharaja.  Then after the evening arati, we had our temple president, H.G Varanayak elaborated on the personality of Guru maharaj and his mood and examplery service to bring everyone into Srila Prabhupada’s service. He also read out Guru Maharaja’s vyasa puja offering to Srila Prabhupad. Followed by this, all of us had listened to Guru Maharaj’s message to all the devotees on his Vyasapuja day. Devotees indeed was very much enlivened by Guru Maharaja’s sweet and nice explanation on the significance of observing Srila Prabhupada memorial.

Next came the time for devotees to read out their glorifications for Srila Prabhupada. In spite of short notice given to the devotees, lot of devotees enthusiastically came up with their offering for Srila Prabhupada. They eloquently expressed their gratitude on how Srila Prabhupada has contributed to their life. His Grace Sundarananda prabhu concluded the session with a nice realization that Guru Maharaj is like a ripened mango fruit of Srila Prabhupada’s mango tree. Therefore, we should take Guru Maharaja’s association to taste the nectar of Srila Prabhupada’s tree.

We then moved on to offering of bhoga to Guru Maharaj, followed by flower offering and gurupuja along with ecstatic kirtan. Finally, we got to serve sumptuous and a wide variety prasadam feast to all the assembled devotees.  Indeed, only by Guru Maharaj’s mercy, we could spend this glorious evening packed with heartfelt glorifications in honouring Srila Prabhupada and Guru Maharaj.

We thank all the devotees who assembled on this auspicious evening and blessed us with their trascendental association. We look forward for the next year vyasapuja while meditating on serving and following Guru Maharaja.
