This morning the first thing I saw was this wonderful picture of Guru Mahārāja. I responded to the Facebook Page Friend request of Kapil Muni Prabhu [click on his name to find out yourself] and I felt very touched by that picture he posted on his timeline. A most wonderful picture of Guru Mahārāja. Guru Mahārāja mentioned: “We want the best. If you can show me anything better than ISKCON we will go there.”
Guru Mahārāja searched for a spiritual master all over India when he was young. He became totally depressed when he did not find anyone qualified there. Then Guru Mahārāja thought: “If things are that difficult then let my spiritual master come to me himself.” And this happened! The way Śrīla Prabhupāda appeared in Guru Mahārāja’s dream was exactly as on that picture. Guru Mahārāja saw Śrīla Prabhupāda in a dream, on a magnificent vyasasana. This was unusual to Guru Mahārāja. From his pristine Gaudiya Vaishnava background Guru Mahārāja had not really known a spiritual master being worshiped in such an impressive manner. Immediately Guru Mahārāja knew that Śrīla Prabhupāda was his eternal spiritual master who had responded so powerfully to his desperate call.
The picture put up on Kapil Muni prabhus timeline re-invokes this powerful story of Guru Mahārāja. Therefore it is such a wonderful preaching. It is wonderful also because this preaching further spreads the Hare Kṛṣṇa movement. Many devotees and disciples like Kapil Muni , Kartik Agrawal, Subhananda, Radharani and many other devotees preach on Facebook. See how powerful Bhakti Charu Swami Facebook page is! All youngsters are on Facebook. I am not surprised that even young Vrinda & Vrajaraja have their own ecstatic Facebook page. Their home is a Vaikuntha and their parents run the most ecstatic Namahatta in Holland. I explore my own preaching instincts on my JapaWalker page.
Guru Mahārāja mentioned how the dynamics of the Western world play a very important role in spreading Kṛṣṇa consciousness. He referred to Śrīla Prabhupāda saying : “The lame has to climb on the shoulders of the blind, the lame being India at Śrīla Prabhupāda’s time and the West being the blind.” Facebook is a very dynamic instrument and a very powerful preaching tool. In response to some unpleasant characters and offenders who blasphemed Guru Mahārāja on the internet so many disciples have created websites and helped to build a massive response. Facebook allows us to make the website contents become very active. Look at the amazing quote posters created by Kapil Muni and Kartik Agrawal prabhus, very powerful preaching! We can be more and more creative and bring out all the different themes that Guru Mahārāja personifies in his incomparable preaching.
Yesterday I came out of a hospital and when I stepped in my car and heard Guru Mahārāja’s ‘Bhaja Govinda’ bhajan, I felt like coming to life again! Can we make Guru Mahārāja’s music come out through Facebook? I am just brainstorming. There are so many more aspects of the Vaikuntha-preaching that Guru Mahārāja pours constantly on this suffering planet, all out of his causeless mercy and bothomless love for Śrīla Prabhupāda! I bow down to all the genius Godbrothers and -sisters who further help spreading the ocean of love spread by Guru Mahārāja who is Prabhupāda gatah pranam.
Although Guru Mahārāja is fully acknowledging the impact of the internet preaching, sometimes he made remarks about only getting into pictures. He wants us to enter deeply in his nectarean vani. Therefore he insists on transcribing his lectures and we need to push on that service also, as musch as possible . All help is welcome!
All glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga!! All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda! Hare Kṛṣṇa!
Praying to be the servant of the servants,
