Our Dearest Spiritual Master, Srila Bhakti Charu Swami

Please accept our humble obeisances at the dust of your divine Lotus Feet, all glories to your Divine Grace. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and His ISKCON.

On behalf of the family of ISKCON, we are extremely privileged to have your Divine Association daily through the intelligence and  hard work of His Grace Ramananda Raya Prabhu.

May 2012 be a  year of success and spiritual joy to your Divine Grace’s preaching engagements and Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON Society going to new Heights and Boundaries, like the success & inspiring sankirtana stories in the Muslim town of London.

Guru Maharaj your desire is to work outside the box or go beyond the Indian Club, ringing the bell and having a picnic, but to reach out to other race groups. We were extremely successful in the morning of Christmas Day when dropping Krishna Prasad for his 24 hour on call at Hospital.

Our first customer in the car park was Dr S Khan, an Intern in Surgery Dept, who took Srila Prabhupada’s Book with a huge smile. He gave his first name that sounded like Hindu.  Our second customer was curios, Dr Alisha Chandar, a Gynecologist, she asked did that Muslim Dr take a book I said yes, then she was obliged to take one.  Both were rushing to theatre.

Thereafter on the Golden Mile, were Guru Maharaj takes His Japa walk when in Durban and the Harinam spot, which His Holiness Vasudev Swami and Maha Vishnu Swami appreciated on two consecutive Saturday evenings Harinam.

His Holiness Vasudev Swami said,” keep the Harinam going, this is Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s main business to give the Holy Names out to others”.

Thereafter the Blacks and Whites on holiday from Botswana, Johannesburg and other Provinces were attracted to the books in the 36 degree Celsius morning.

We hope to hear more Sankirtan stories  with photos and video clips in 2012 and the distribution of Abhay Charan DVD serials, that will please Guru Maharaj and Srila Prabhupada, The Lion Guru, Spiritual Warrior who has the soft love of embrace like a Mother for its calf, first in the West and back to India.

Thank you very much Guru Maharaj for being an exemplary role model in Krishna Consciousness and all the members of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness for being loyal servants to Srila Prabhupada Vision, Mission and Goals. We pray that the scientist and world get to know Srila Prabhupada more in 2012.

With love

Mrs Usha Negi, wife of Consul General of India to South Africa wanted Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad Gita.

She was fortunate to get an autographed copy from His Holiness Bhakti Vasudev Swami, who was about leaving the Temple premises leading the Harinam Party to the busy Phoenix Plaza.

Mrs Usha Negi expressed her concern regarding the banning of the Bhagavad Gita in Russia. She saw it on TV News. It was the Consul General, Harsh Vardhan Sing Negi, first visit and tour of Phoenix, the NJP Temple being the first stop

His Holiness Bhakti Vasudev Swami told the Consul General the benefit of Harinam, which drops the high levels of crime immediately. Consul Negi agreed.

His guide, Mr Anesh Kramlall was happy to bring Mr Negi with his family to the Temple for Darsan, Spiritual Association and lunch.
