28th November 2011, evening around 4:30 PM

His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami and me [his servant] landed at Pune Airport. A not so tumultuous sound of Hare Krsna Mahamantra was significantly audible, as we were checking out of the Airport. Very soon devotees headed by H G Radheshyams Prabhu were humbly approaching maharaj singing kirtans and offered garlands. Gurudeva told me to take care of his luggage and he left for *Sri Sri Radha Kunjabihari*temple with *H G Radheshayma Prabhu* and other devotees. After a wonderful reception in temple he gave an arrival address in the Temple full of devotees.

After that Srila Gurudev finally came to His Grace Parashurama Prabhu’s house. To my amazement, every square feet of the house, which was not different than a temple, was very lovingly and beautifully decorated for the pleasure of Guru Maharaja. And Maharaja was very much pleased by their Vaishnava hospitality. At first Maharaja was being offered different types to juices and drinks and then a group of mataji’s had prepared sumptuous South-Indian dishes for the pleasure of Srila Gurudeva. Even I delved upon some of the dishes for the first time. His Grace Parshuram Prabhu and Shyamangi Radhika mataji were taking care of Srila Gurudeva very nicely. Thus the day ended as Srila Gurudeva went inside his room to take rest. Next morning I woke up at around 2:50 A.M and could hear the pure chanting of the Holy names from outside. Srila Gurudeva was chanting his rounds loudly in the living room.

After carrying out with my regular Sadhana, at around 8:10 A.M we left for temple for Bhagavatam Class. The lecture was on the topic : *How to deal with Seniors, Equals and Juniors in Krsna Consciousness [S.B.: 4.8.34]*. The class was from 8:30 A.M to 10:00 A.M and very much captivating. Then, after the class Gurudeva was invited to inaugurate the Deity Dressing Department, headed by Shyamangi Radhika Mataji. Srila Gurudeva, after the inauguration ceremony, had breakfast and after that Gurudeva visited Bhaktivedanta Model School where His Holiness was greeted by small little Vaishnava students and Gurudeva also interacted with them and their teachers. At around 11:30 A.M Gurudeva gave a class on *SRI CHAITANYA SIKSHASTAKAM *verse: 3 in the brahmachari ashrama. After the completion of Temple program        Maharaja came back to His Grace Parashuram Prabhu’s home by 12:35 noon.  I was wonder struck to see the “*56 Bhoga*” preparation made by the devotees there. Everything was arranged on the dining table and there was variety of dishes from Continental to Bengali to Marathi to Gujrati to Punjabi to Rajasthani. I may be missing some variety for sure. Glorifying the loving devotion of pure devotees to its fullest is something very difficult for me. But I will still try: The dishes looked so colorful and so much luxurious and palatable that Gurudeva said that “*Just by seeing them I am feeling satisfied.*” Actually Gurudeva instantly accepted the love of the devotees and, may be, that’s why he said like that. Gurudeva started accepting the offerings and H G Parshuram Prabhu and me were serving Srila Gurudeva. Maharaja was asking about all the preparations separately and he seemed to be very curious to know the recipes. Maharaja was thanking and greeting whoever had rendered any amount of service to please Maharaja. Then one devotee, not being able to serve in this feast program, decided to read some pages from Sri Chaitanya Charitamrtam. Maharaj was then very much carefully relishing the nectar of prasadam and of Gaura lila as well.

After honoring prasadam Maharaj sat on sofa for another 15-20 minutes to listen to Gaura Lila for some more time. And then His Holiness asked everyone to take prasadam and he left for his room to take rest. It was a challenge for me to even taste all the dishes at least once. I tried my level best but could only reach 35 out of 56.

There was a pre-decided maha-satsanga program at temple around 7:15 P.M. in the evening over the topic: *ATTACHMENT THAT LEADS TO LIBERATION [in Hindi]*. And then on request of all those 1000 devotees gathered there Srila Gurudeva sang *GOPI GEET* [Hariiii boollllllll…]. After such a wonderful and marvelous program, H G Bala Govinda Prabhu made an announcement that whoever purchases a book now will get it signature by His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj. As soon as the announcement was made a swarm of devotees, within no time, gathered around Gurudeva to get their recently purchased books signature by Maharaj. All the inspired devotees were taking blessings, autographs and instructions from Guru Maharaja. I also decided to make hay while the sun was shining and immediately got a Nectar Of Devotion from the stall and stood in front of Srila Gurudev smiling, seeking for his blessings. Then we came to H G Parashurama Prabhu’s home at 10:15 PM and after making some arrangements in Srila Gurudeva’s room and switching off the lights of the room I came out. Finally this ecstatic day ended with my eyes closed, body tired and memories of Srila Gurudeva’s association running through my mind. Continue….

Yours in Service of Srila Gurudeva.
