Ujjain update 14th September, 2010
His Grace Mukunda Prabhu
In today’s morning class Guru Maharaj spoke on the 2nd aspect of saranagati that is atmanivedana or surrendering oneself. He explained that one can only surrender when he becomes humble and sang the song “Manaso deha geho jo kichu more arpilu tua pade Nanda Kishore”. The process is to offer everything we posses our body our mind, our home to the Lord and assume the position of a servant. We should be at His mercy and he may either keep us alive or he may kill us. We must not look for liberation but only request that we may be born again in the association of devotees.
Guru Maharaj did not address the morning session of Mahabharat as he had a lot of pressing engagements but spoke to us in the evening. He led us through all the negotiations and the peace efforts initiated by the Pandavas and Lord Krishna right up to the first day of the battle of Kurukshetra.
Later in the evening he recited and spoke on the 12th chapter of the Bhagavat Gita and then sang the Mahamantra for about half an hour.
Tomorrow there will be the celebrations of Radhastumi with avishek of Srimati Radharani followed by a feast however the initiation ceremony has been rescheduled for the next day.
